We will have two special issues in Computers & Mathematics with Applications and Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - Series B.
A special issue for the 2nd Annual Meeting of SIAM Central States Section will appear in Computers & Mathematics with Applications (CAMWA), which provides a medium of exchange for those engaged in fields contributing to building successful simulations for science and engineering using partial differential equations. The papers should be within the scope of CAMWA, which is basically multi-dimensional PDE-based simulations. Therefore, non-PDE or 1D papers are not suitable for CAMWA. Theoretical multi-dimensional PDE papers are acceptable if the subject is well motivated with an application.
The submission website is located at: http://ees.elsevier.com/camwa/default.asp
To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into this special issue, it is important that authors select SIAM-CSS(2016) when reaching the “Article Type” step.
The papers should also meet the formatting and editorial requirements of CAMWA. The review process for this special issue is in line with normal review practices for CAMWA. The whole editorial and review process will be managed entirely through Elsevier Editorial System (EES). Only the conference speakers are invited to submit their papers to the special issue with a limitation of one paper for each speaker. Here is the list of the guest editors for this CAMWA special issue:
Xiaoming He
Missouri University of Science and Technology
Stephen Pankavich
Colorado School of Mines
Erik Van Vleck
University of Kansas
University of South Carolina
Xiu Ye
University of Arkansas at Little Rock
Here are the proposed publication schedule deadlines:
The other special issue for the SIAM Central States Section will appear in Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - Series B (DCDS-B), which is an interdisciplinary journal focusing on the interactions between mathematical modeling, analysis and scientific computations. Based on the guideline for special issue of DCDS-B, all contributed papers must be invited by guest editors, who are required to be selective in inviting contributors and maintain high quality. The invited contributors may not be conference speakers. The papers should be within the scope of DCDS-B and meet the formatting and editorial requirements of DCDS-B. The review process for this special issue is in line with normal review practices for DCDS-B. The whole editorial and review process will be managed entirely through the AIMS online editorial system. The guest editors only make recommendations for the papers and the Editor-in-Chiefs of DCDS-B will make the final decision for each paper separately. Here is the list of guest editors for this DCDS-B special issue:
Xiaoming He
Missouri University of Science and Technology
Eric Kaufmann
University of Arkansas at Little Rock
Stephen Pankavich
Colorado School of Mines
Erik Van Vleck
